abulous farcical fun, this new comedy series follows the lives and loves of the residents and clients of a suburban brothel.

Topping the bill is ex-hollyoaks pin up Jodi Albert, who plays naive airhead Hayley, working alongside her in "Debonnaire", a semi detached house of ill repute, are student Kate, on the run serbian war criminal Yelena and chain smoking, multi-skilled granny Maureen, stumbling into this world comes shy Michael, who’s so frustrated by his passionless life with DIY-mad missus Pippa that he seeks solace in a sex shop.

"Hayley dreams of being a celeb or on Big Brother.", grins Jodi. "She is completely ditzy and lives in her own little world."

"She and Michael never really do anything, they just talk- it's a really sweet relationship. Not many of her clients want to speak-most of them just want what they've paid for. I think the series is very enjoyable and tongue in cheek and certainly not seedy or sleazy."

So will it be a hit? Well, Jodi's pop star boyfriend Kian, from Westlife, certainly liked it. "I took my boyfriend to the screening and he's very blunt and would tell me if he thought it was crap," she explains. "He didn't stop laughing."

With its cracking turn of phrase, Respectable is sometimes coarse, occasionally crass, but always top class comedy with superstar approval, what’s not to love?
