Hollyoaks lovebirds Dan Hunter and Debbie Dean will both take dramatic exits from the soap this Christmas after he killed in a road smash.
The drama unfolds on Monday December 27 when hunk Dan (Andy McNair, 24) dies while licing his of being part of the Christmas Eve motor race.
As funeral preparations get underway, Dan's ex Debbie (Jodi Albert, 21) realises it's time to move on and drops the bombshell that she's leaving.
A Hollyoaks insider said: "The Christmas spirit will be missing for some of the town this year."
"Dan and Debbie were much-loved characters and they be greatly missed."
