We got the biggest response we've ever had to our HOLLYOAKS 2004 poll, so first off we'd like to thank all of you who found time to take part. Best male actor of the year turned out to be Lee Otway (Bombhead) with 32% of the vote, while best female actor was the now ex-OAKS stalwart Jodi Albert (Debbie Dean) who secured 31%. Neither, as you can see, got a majority of the vote. That privilege was reserved for Matt Littler (Max) and Darren Jeffries (OB), who won the best comedy double act category with a massive 69%, and for the characters of Dan and Debbie who were voted best couple (56%).
