Kian’s Mum In Law Faces Cancer Fight ; BATTLE
WESTLIFE’S Kian Egan has revealed wife Jodi Albert’s mum is battling cancer.
Kian confirmed his motherin-law Eileen is not yet in remission and said a year of family tragedies forced the newlyweds to put their honeymoon period on hold.
He said: “We’ve had so much to deal with, first Jodi’s grandfather died and now her mother has cancer.
“We’ve been dealing with a lot for the past two years.
“I hope that, by the time Christmas comes, all the sadness will have passed us.
“Hopefully it will be a new start for us in the New Year. We’ll finally be able to enjoy the honeymoon period.”
But he said his new girlband is still going ahead. The group, co- managed by Louis Walsh, was launched on the Late Late Show last year but still aren’t named.
Kian said: “They’re recording their album. They’ve sang to Mercury records in the UK.”
