WE HEAR ex-Hollyoaks actress Jodi Albert is hotly tipped for a place in a new Irish girl band.
Jodie, 25, played Debbie Dean in the teen soap for two years and also had a top 10 hit with Girl Thing in 2000.
So with bags of experience you would expect it to be a done deal . . .
Especially when Insider found out her fiance, Westlife’s Kian Egan, had helped set up the open auditions.
We can’t see Kian refusing his fiancée a place in his and Louis Walsh’s new project.
But he and Walsh, who has puppet-mastered the careers of Boyzone, Westlife and Girls Aloud, insist the venture is still at casting stage.
They said everyone who wants a place in the band is expected to turn up and demonstrate their pop skills.
And Jodie did just that .
She arrived at the open auditions at Dublin’s Pod complex last weekend in a chauffeur driven car.
And auditionees take note – Jodie managed to look stunning dressed down and with little make-up. She then belted out a flawless rendition of Chains.
