Caroline Corr is going to be making beautiful music with Louis Walsh’s new girlband.

She is reported to have agreed to help the group in their bid for stardom and has set her mind to writing their first single.

Louis approached her weeks ago to help out his sexy fivesome as they set their sights on becoming the new Girls Aloud.

And this week, Caroline has confirmed that she would love to help them out by penning them a funky pop song.

“Caroline has a proven track record in the music industry and knows exactly what it takes to make a hit record. Louis is delighted that she has agreed to help out his new band. He’s taking his time with them as he wants to get everything right before unleashing them on the market,” said an insider.

Although they were formed last year following a national search, the fivesome have yet to release any new music.

Made up of band members Kasey Smith, Corina Duran, Sharon Condon, Jodi Albert and Leanne Moore, the girls got a considerable boost recently after being signed up to Universal, the same label as U2.

The five aspiring stars were all so surprised after being offered the deal by top music execs in London that they instantly burst into tears, says Louis.

The girls have already made their debut performance on TV after appearing on the Late Late Show shortly before Christmas, but have kept a low profile since.

Honymoon

The band members were all invited to Barbados last month to see Jodi Albert tie the knot with Westlife star Kian Egan, who co-manages the band with Louis.

But they were so determined to start work on building the band, and ensuring they get their sound and look just right, that the couple flew back early from their honeymoon to concentrate on the group.

Newlyweds Kian Egan and Jodi Albert are already planning a family and have included a ‘baby room’ in an extension to their house.

The loved-up duo have received planning permission for a development at the house at Strandhill, Co Sligo, which includes four bedrooms, a kitchen and living area, a music and entertainment room.

The en-suite master bedroom will include two separate walk-in wardrobes, while a nearby room has been described on the plans as a ‘baby room’.

Former Hollyoaks star Jodi (26) and boyband singer Kian, who recently married in Barbados, were granted planning permission from Sligo County Council to extend their home near the sea at Carrowdough, where they also own a bar.

The pair also own a stunning five-bedroom barn conversion close to Jodi’s parents in Essex and an apartment in London.

Kian (29) stays in the house in Sligo when he visits his mum and dad at the large house he bought them in the town.

And the couple have been modest in their plans to build their dream home to raise children in.

“Jodi and I practically do live together,” Kian said before they were married. “We have our little small house up there in Sligo — it’s by the seaside,” he said. “There’s nothing big or special about it, it’s only a four-bedroom little bungalow. It’s all we need.”

The couple, who dated for seven years, will be doubling the bungalow’s original size to a roomy 5,231sq ft.

They plan to divide their time between their three homes, but it looks as if Jodi and Kian are planning on settling down in Sligo if they have children.

“Kian and I are really excited about our lives together,” Jodi said. “And when I do have a baby I want to spend all my time with it, I want to be the one who brings it up. To do that I would have to be grown up myself.

“Kian’s house in Sligo is gorgeous, right on the beach,” she added.

Kian’s house plans spark baby rumours

Newly weds Kian Egan and Jodi Albert, have sparked baby rumours, as they expand their Sligo lovenest into a big family home.

The Westlife singer and his new wife, are adding to speculation that they plan to have a baby soon, and they embark on a major building project at their Strandhill home.

The couple have just received planning permission, from Sligo city council, for a huge extention to their beachfront house.

Their modest but beautiful 2,200 square foot home is to be transformed into a 5,230 square foot mansions which is the size of 5 average family homes.

The pair are adding a mammoth 3,014 square foot living area, to the house which already boats 5 bedrooms.

The millionaire singer splashed out 340,000 euros in 2004 to purchase the private estate house, which is just a few hundred yards from the plush house which he bought for his parents.

The couple who have said they want to base themselves out of Sligo, also have a stunning apartment in London.

However Kian and Jodi who married in a romantic ceremony in Barbados last month, insisted they are in no rush to start a family.

“There is no need to hurry,”said Kian.

“For a lot of people babies come quite quickly, after you get married, but given our lifestyle and jobs its just not practical.”

Jodi claims that they plan to have babies but not till they are in their thirties.

“We talk about them all the time, but I’m 25, and I really want to give my career a go. Realistically its a good five years away ”

Seems like last weekend’s good weather brought out Ireland’s celebrity love-birds in their throngs. With airy VIP penthouse terraces on offer our best known celeb couples made their way to Krystle nightclub on Saturday night to let off some steam and show-off those enormous diamond rings…

Last weekend Irish weather sent out an official press release to the nation stating: summer starts today! And about feckin’ time too… But all that smashing sunshine brought our most high-profile celebrity couples out of hibernation for a night on the tiles…

First off, we had sexy Claudine Palmer and her soccer star beau Robbie Keane hitting the club on their first night out since having a new baby boy a mere 3 weeks ago. We’re still amazed how our Claudine got her super trim figure back so quick after the birth; these WAGs are a different breed folks.

reshly back from their romantic honeymoon, Westlife’s newlywed couple Kian Egan and Jodi Albert (or is it Jodi Egan now?) were among the well-known faces at Krystle last Saturday night. Looking tanned and toned, the couple made their way to the club after attending at the Beyonce concert at The O2 earlier in the night.

Rocking a giant rock the size of a fist on her wedding finger, Jodi was beaming after attending the show as it was one of her wedding presents from hubbie Kian. The Westlife star even had their interview on the Tubridy Tonight Show recorded earlier in the day so he could take his new bride to the sold-out gig. Rosemantic or wha?

Another Westlife couple, namely Shane Filan and his wife Gillian Filan, followed their friends to the VIP club. We’re assuming they attended Beyonce too… Between the gigantic icy diamonds on the fingers of Claudine, Jodi & Gillian – there was more carats in Krystle than in Appleby’s window!

In stark contrast to all the celebbo couples on show, model and Xpose presenter Glenda ‘Johnny Who?’ Gilson attended the club as an apparently newly single lady (she’s still admitting to nothing). Although, the leggy lady did have her Mammy along – both celebrating her big 60th birthday… The Mammy’s, not Glenda’s of course!

But what would a night at Krystle be without ShowBiz.ie’s favourite ShowBiz pairing in the form of Michelle Heaton and Hugh Hanley? We’re glad to see Shelly and Hugh are still in love and living the dream – there were cynics out there thinking this couple wouldn’t last five minutes under the media spotlight. Not us of course. Ahem.

Forget all the above folks. Last Saturday night we got the first exclusive photos of a PROPER celebrity couple. Oh yes. We snapped former Army Lieutenant Collette McBarron and Zac Jordan, son of F1 boss Eddie Jordan, exiting the club together and trying to avoid our eagle-eyed paparazzo.

Apparently Collette and Zac have been seeing each other for some time now and have gone to great lengths to keep their burgeoning romance out of the media. Note to ‘Zacette’ – Krystle is probably NOT the best place to keep a secret relationship secret, what with all the journalists inside and our smelly snappers outside.

Ah but we’re only delira for Collette now that she’s found a handsome young educated man to squire her about the town. Maybe now she can finally put the whole McMunter scandal behind her and get on with her life… Oh how we miss those heady McMunter days. Nostalgia ay?

Veteran Showbizzy couple Lorraine Keane and Peter Devlin were also at Krystle on Saturday night (was it Couples-Get-In-Free night?). Seems like Lorraine’s feet haven’t touched-the-ground since she walked-away from her head role on TV3’s Xpose. The celebrity obsessed-much show is now on a nationwide search for a lead anchor… Don’t be surprised if one of the lovely ladies that frequent these pages gets the gig folks…

Lastly, after all these star-struck couples, celebrity dentist Danielle Meagher had to go one better… Not content with just one man the high profile tooth driller had eligible bachelors Hugh O’Morain and Andrew Jones on each arm as she entered the club. Quality not quantity Danielle, quality not quantity!

Tubridy Tonight guests are revealed

Ryan Tubridy will be joined by a host of stars for his final ‘Tubridy Tonight’ show tomorrow.

Actor and singer David Hasselhoff, who was previously one of the most memorable guests on the show, will be joining the presenter for a chat.

Westlife star Kian Egan and his wife Jodi Albert will be making their first television appearance together since their recent wedding in the Caribbean.

Also on tomorrow night’s programme ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Dana Delany, who plays Katherine Mayfair in the hit US show, will be revealing what it’s really like on the set of the show.

Comedian Des Bishop and author Marian Keyes will also be popping in for a chat during the final show.
